International gathering
In addition to Alma Ibrahimovic, the Dutch team consisted of 28 other participants from universities across the Netherlands: ‘It was interesting to see that the Dutch delegation was very international; although all the students were enrolled at Dutch universities, some of them were from Germany, Turkey and Great Britain.'The jury, who voted the Dutch team ‘Best International Delegation', qualified the team's approach as cooperative and constructive. The team also succeeded in effectively promoting its views and ensuring these were reflected in the UN resolution. The students received a certificate in recognition of their efforts.
